Ministry to Orphans
HIV/AIDS has left over 6 million Ethiopian Orphans and with many refugees coming from bordering nations these numbers dramatically grow each day. In 2001 Watch & Pray stepped into this situation to give hope to the hopeless and life to the dying. As a result of the support we received from our donors, we have managed to build an orphanage called the Joseph House, and care for 53 children. All of these children that we care for are receiving medical care, attending school daily, and are receiving the love of Christ they so desperately need. From smile on their face where there was once sadness, to the light of new hope
in their eyes where there was once
tears of sorrow, these children
still need our help and we need
yours. $35.00 per month cares
for one child’s basic needs. Every
dollar goes right to the child and
caring for their daily provisions.

Ministry to Widows
In India there are many women who find themselves homeless and out on the street when their husbands have died from aids, war, famine and especially killed because they are Christians. Because these women are not allowed to work and they have no skills, they find themselves alone, hungry and in need of help.
In the book of James it clearly defines our role as brothers and sisters in Christ, we are to care for these widows as if they were our own mothers. Through our widows ministry we look to meet more than their basic needs of food shelter and clothing. We also educate them more about Christ and His love so that not only are we feeding their bodies but we are nourishing their spirits as well. We are trying to put in a sewing school for these widows to teach them a trade so they can help themselves and others as well. We need your help to do this. | Our missionaries fed lunch to these widows and then provided them with household supplies. |
